The licensed therapist provides individual and group therapy and assessment; supervision and training of medical providers and practicum students; program development and evaluation; quality improvement initiatives in inpatient, outpatient and worksite settings. The therapist plays an important role in health education and behavior change for patients through the weight management program. The therapist is administratively responsible through the Director of the UNC Tobacco Treatment & Weight Management Programs at UNC Family Medicine. Successful candidates must be professionally licensed or license eligible to practice social work or equivalent degree in the State of North Carolina
