The UNC Satir Program is based on the Satir Growth Model, developed by family therapy pioneer Virginia Satir. It provides a framework for self-reflection and for engaging with others more authentically. Its workshops are highly experiential, involving personal work as well as theoretical understanding.

Our School offers two credit courses at the MSW level, as well as a one-week intensive training workshop each summer for social work professionals and other practitioners.
