The Department of Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks to hire a full-time Research Instructor (fixed term) faculty member. The successful applicant will act as project manager for clinical projects and research studies related to telehealth and integrated behavioral health. They will be responsible for overall management of the projects and research studies. Duties may include coordination of project stakeholders, participation in project design and implementation, leading discussions with administrative and clinical project partners, monitoring of project and study progress and goals, onboarding of project staff, and assisting with budgetary management. In addition, they may handle regulatory processes (IRB), network with physicians, community partners, and patient advocacy groups, independently perform data analysis, create and distribute project progress reports, and assist with paper and grant writing. We are seeking candidates with experience in clinical projects and/or research related to psychiatric conditions and who demonstrate excellent collaboration and leadership skills.

Applicants for the Research Instructor position must have a masters in a relevant field.

Candidates with research experience and experience with study coordination preferred.
