This is a full-time therapist position on the UNC Counseling & Psychological Services Multicultural Health Program team. The licensed therapist provides individual and group therapy and assessment; supervision and training of practicum students if appropriate; outreach programming; and crisis intervention, including daytime and evening/weekend on-call services. Case management for clients of concern, consultation with members of the University community and participation on counseling related campus committees is also expected. A primary focus of the position will be to serve underserved populations: Asian, Asian American and Pacific Islander, Indigenous, LatinX and BIPOC students, providing mental health services, as well as delivering programming and outreach. UNC Counseling and Psychological Services is committed to supporting this position with opportunities to foster Departmental and Campus-wide partnerships to build community and to develop innovative and creative approaches to best support the well-being of underserved students.
