Job Description

Anchor Perinatal Wellness (APW) is a specialized perinatal mental health program in Raleigh, North Carolina that offers outpatient and intensive outpatient mental health services. We treat pregnant and postpartum (up to 24 months) people with mild, moderate and severe perinatal depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and other perinatal distress. We are a collaborative group of clinicians skilled in evidence-based modalities for this population. We serve people of all races, ethnicities, religions, gender identities, sexual orientations, immigration statuses, and socioeconomic statuses.

Therapists will provide group therapy, individual therapy, and family therapy to patients in APW’s perinatal outpatient and intensive outpatient program. Group therapy services are rendered in-person at our Raleigh location. Individual and family therapy services will be rendered through a combination of virtual technologies from an appropriate location and in-person meetings at our Raleigh location. This position reports to APW’s Clinical Director.

Hours: Our group hours are MWF, 9:30a-12:30p. Clinical team meeting is held on Fridays at 1:00 pm. Individual and family sessions can be scheduled at the therapist’s convenience on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Pay: This position pays $30-$35 per hour, with annual raises and bonuses.
Education and Licensure Requirements
Full or associate LCSW, LCMHC, LPA, or LMFT
Trained in at least one evidence-based treatment modality, including CBT, DBT, ACT, IPT, CPT, EMDR, SP, SE, and Brainspotting.
At least one year post-graduate clinical experience

Assigned duties include:
Do screenings for potential clients
Lead and facilitate groups
Conduct weekly individual sessions
Conduct family sessions
Participate in weekly clinical team meeting and regular supervision
Complete required clinical documentation by the end of each week
Coordinate care with outside providers for assigned clients
Attend a few community events each year to network and represent the program
Conduct biopsychosocial assessments for admissions on a rotating basis
Participate in on-call rotation
Complete ongoing training on perinatal mood disorders, trauma, anti-oppression, and related topics

A newly hired therapist must:
Provide professional references
Submit to a comprehensive background check
Register with the state registry NC automated background check management system
Verify their license
Complete 2 weeks of paid training
Complete mandatory HR and clinical trainings
