Position Summary: The Teens Climb High Assistant will assist with the implementation of the FLASH curriculum inChapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools ninth grade health classes. FLASH is a safer sex approach to STIs, Teen Pregnancy and HIV prevention, aims to provide young adolescents with the knowledge, confidence, and skills necessary to reduce their risk of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), HIV, and pregnancy.
Work Conditions: Average 20 hours weekly daytime weekday hours ( Monday – Friday 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM); Variable schedule based on school program implementation; Ability to work more hours to respond to program needs; In- person; periodically move boxes and bags weighing up to 30 pounds; ascend/descend stairs as needed.; Full COVID-19 vaccination, as defined by the CDC as mandated by CHCCS schools for guest educators
