SALARY RANGE: $43,414 – $55,353 GRADE: 69

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs reentry coordinator duties to include preparation and facilitation of meetings and providing public outreach and education.
Works with community partners to identify those ready for community reentry.
Documents all client contact.
Gathers information to identify participants’ risks and needs.
Establishes appropriate service/treatment plans.
Works regularly in the field conducting home visits.
Prepares and maintains ongoing documentation of workload activities.
Performs other duties as assigned, which may include shelter duty.

IDEAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
General knowledge of policies, procedures, rules, state and federal law as related to governmental operations;
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret rules, regulations and procedures;
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, administrative officials, other professionals, and the general public;
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions;
Ability to analyze, prioritize, plan, and execute work timely and accurately;
Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely and to plan and executive work effectively;
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with participants, administrative officials, and the general public;
Basic knowledge and/or ability to learn use of office equipment, software systems, internet based programs.

PREFERRED TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of social work;
Or, bachelor’s degree in a human services field from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of directly related experience;
Or, bachelor’s from a four-year college or university and two years of experience;
Or, an equivalent combination of training and experience;
And, the successful candidate must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION:
Criminal records check, drug screen, references and transcripts will be required for the successful candidate; this is a safety sensitive position subject to random drug testing.
