Manage the growth and implementation of the DUHS Professionalism Program. When professional conduct reports are submitted, work with managers and leaders to implement a response process, which can include peer review, “cups of coffee” conversations, restorative justice processes, and/or HR/accountability mechanisms. Continually grow the program in response to the needs of our team members, including potential implementation of additional options that might decrease the recidivism rate (e.g., educational opportunities, proactive restorative processes). Also help with growth of Tier 2 restorative work within DUHS. Work within the larger culture and wellbeing space to help implement other related programs. (40%)
Co-facilitate training for Professionalism, and provide/administer individual booster trainings for volunteers (who provide “cups of coffee” conversations). Manage and continually update the volunteer list, meet with volunteers as needed, and provide guidance and support to volunteers. Facilitate other trainings related to culture and wellbeing. (10%)
Review SRS reports for professional conduct each morning, and manage provision of proactive support based on those reports. Work with physician and other volunteers to ensure coverage of all needed proactive interventions. Prepare reports, analyze trends, and propose improvements/changes to the program. (5%)
Coordinate, facilitate, and/or participate in advisory committees and other meetings with DUHS team members to determine goals, reach, and details of the Professionalism program and to identify available internal and external resources. Develop and implement program protocol, procedures, and operating policies. Correspond with interested team members to provide information about other culture and wellbeing work—including presenting program information to departments across DUHS. (5%)
Prepare flyers, newsletters, presentations, and other communications to describe goals, trainings, and events, and work with communications to disseminate information. Work with communications to keep website and other communications updated. (5%)
