Paid Intern, Data Analytics
Freedom House Recovery Center, Inc, a non-profit behavioral health agency, is seeking a PT (20 hrs/wk) data analytics intern to assist with data entry, analysis and reporting for various programs serving adults and children with behavioral health needs.
Qualifications
• College grad or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
• Problem-solving and analytical understanding of statistics and data
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office software and various databases required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
• Excellent time management and organizational skills required
• Positive, high-energy approach to assignments and a willingness to learn quickly required
Responsibilities
• Assists Data Analyst with data collection, entry, extraction and reporting
• Track, collect and enter data from outcome measures associated with multiple grant projects
• Extract and analyze data entered in electronic medical record and various state and federal databases
• Analyzes, writes, maintains, and presents insights utilizing data visualization tools to support decision making process for agency administration
• Independently prepare written reports of outcome analyses for funders
• Gains industry knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments
• Interacts successfully with staff collecting data at multiple sites
• Develops skills needed for a career in data analytics
• Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required
