The School of Social Work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites nominations and applications for two open rank fixed term faculty positions (12-month). These fixed-term faculty will be responsible for teaching 7 courses per year, typically 3 during the fall semester, 3 during the spring semester, and 1 summer course. We are seeking applicants with direct social work experience and the ability to teach primarily in the Generalist and Direct Practice (DP) curriculum areas. Applicants with clinical practice backgrounds and the ability to teach within the Direct Practice concentration will be assigned to teach a range of MSW DP courses in our in-person and future online programs. Applicants must have demonstrated skills to teach social work coursework and clinical social work practice. Knowledge and skills relevant to teach MSW level theory and practice classes, substance use and addictions, among other clinical practice modalities is desired. Other duties in addition to teaching include service and committee work.

Salary is competitive and will be commensurate with experience.
