NaphCare is currently hiring Licensed Mental Health Professionals (LCMHCA, LCMHC, LCMHCS, LCSW, LCSW A) just like you at the Forsyth County Law Enforcement and Detention Center located in Winston-Salem, NC. Full Time, Part Time, PRN and 8-13 week temporary contracts are available!

We also have a position currently to work in one of our innovative, specialized behavioral health programs for the male and female populations. On these programs, the Mental Health Professional is key to delivering quality care that is empirically based, trauma informed, and gender-responsive.

Position Description:

Master’s prepared Mental Health Professional with active NC licensure as a (LCMHCA, LCMHC, LCMHCS, LCSW, LCSW A) in North Carolina
1 year experience preferred
Perform and document mental health evaluations, progress notes, individual and group counseling notes and suicide watch notes
Coordinate with healthcare and security staff regarding patients’ mental health care and release dates
Participate in educational and training activities related to mental health care for patients, security personnel, and healthcare staff
Demonstrate knowledge of DSM-V / DSM-V-TR criteria
