As the on-site housing social worker at a Raleigh based apartment complex, you will be able to use your advocacy and case management skills to assist residents by connecting them with community resources, providing supportive services, and helping to ensure their housing stability.
Essential Functions:
*Provide case management support to residents including assistance with public benefits, connecting with community resources, completing paperwork, vocational support, etc.
*Coordinate with the Property Manager and the Resident Manager on events, resident needs, and a monthly newsletter
*Plan and execute monthly events and workshops for the residents
*Review and interview perspective Second Chance program participants and determine if they would be a good fit for the property
*Work with tenants who are behind on rent to connect with community resources, assist with budgeting, and develop a rent payment plan to help get them back on track
