Family Centered Treatment Therapist

The primary purpose of this position is to provide community-based/in-home individual and family therapy for children, youth, adolescents, adults, and their families.

The person in this position will work with clients and families/natural supports to assess their strengths and needs, assisting families with planning, developing, implementing, and assessing treatment and ancillary services, recommending the types of treatment modalities needed and providing these services directly or by referral.

Duties may also include maintaining oversight of services provided within and outside the agency, acting as an advocate for the client and family/natural supports in the community and developing/evaluating the person-centered plan with the client and team to ensure that services are being delivered and are appropriate to the needs of the client and family/natural supports.

Therapists providing Family Centered Treatment will have an average caseload of 4 to 6 youth and/or families per clinician. A licensed professional will supervise all FCT Therapists.
