Posting & Minimum Requirements:
We have several positions for Master’s Level Social Workers with LCSW or LCSWA, at least 1 year post Master’s experience, and a passion for the treatment of eating disorders.  An active professional license in NC or VA required.

Who We Are:
CAS Counseling Psychotherapy Associates is a premier therapy practice specializing in the treatment of eating disorders.  We have North Carolina offices in Durham, RTP, and Raleigh, and a “coming-soon” location in Richmond, Virginia.  As the longest standing practice of it’s kind in the Triangle, CAS has an established reputation for excellence and integrative care.  Prioritizing collaborative teamwork and a wholistic, bio-psycho-social model, we are committed to practicing social work core values within the psychotherapeutic realm.

Our Specialties:
We are best known for our specialty in the treatment of eating disorders and as such, to be considered, candidates must possess a passion for this specialized field.  We provide training, supervision, and offer CE reimbursement as part of our benefits package.  (Salary rates will vary based on level of training required.)  We also treat trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, sexuality, gender and LGBTQIA issues, phase of life transitions, ADD/ADHD, OCD, grief, and occasionally, substance use disorders.  Our clientele range from approximately 5 years old to seniors of all ages.  While candidates do not need extensive background working with children or elders, an openness to developing skills in treating all ages is required.

A Note About Covid and Beyond:
CAS has embraced a Hybrid Clinical Environment. All of our providers offer a mixture of both teletherapy and in-person therapy sessions, accommodating a wide range of client-needs. While all of our providers are vaccinated, we are currently offering in-person therapy to vaccinated clients only, and continuing to mask, per CDC requirements.
