The Commitment and Treatment Program (CTP) is located at FCI-1 Butner and is currently recruiting for a Clinical Social Worker. The CTP houses civilly certified, post-sentence persons and civilly committed sex offenders for the purposes of confinement and treatment. CTP social workers are active members of the treatment team as they routinely facilitate treatment groups and provide individual treatment sessions aimed at addressing risk factors associated with sexual recidivism. Furthermore, CTP social workers testify in release-related Court proceedings and routinely work with Agency partners (i.e., USPO staff, U.S. Attorney’s office, etc.) in facilitating the release of civilly committed sex offenders into the community.
