CCBHC Program Evaluator

We are currently seeking a full-time CCBHC Program Evaluator. The Program Evaluator will be responsible for overseeing data analysis, monitoring, and compliance with the CCBHC and other grant awards. The position will ensure that all requirements are being followed to comply with grant requirements for data collection, analysis, and reporting. This position is a leadership role, with significant input in goal setting, project monitoring, and will work closely with the CCBHC Director to communicate data analysis reports and statistical measures.

About SouthLight Healthcare

Founded in 1970, SouthLight Healthcare is one of the area’s largest and long-established nonprofit providers of substance use treatment and mental health services. With outpatient and community-based programs, SouthLight provides prevention, education and treatment services in the Triangle and beyond. SouthLight has multiple office locations throughout the Triangle area, serving more than 9,000 clients each year. Services include adult outpatient counseling, Intensive Outpatient Program, Psychiatric Services and Medication Management, Opioid Treatment Program, Court Deferral Program, Peer Support Services, Family Centered Treatment, Community Support Team and a residential treatment program for women and children and more.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversees all evaluation activities, including development of effective data collection, monitoring, analysis and reporting systems in compliance with CCBHC grant, and other grant awards.
Conducts audits of the database and relevant processes to identify problems and perform corrections
Ensures client and program data is accurately and completely recorded in EchoVantage, SouthLight’s electronic health record, according to contractual timelines and requirements
Collaborates and coordinates with Finance and Program teams to ensure grant reporting, goals, and deadlines are met
Assures alignment and compliance with all required standards and quality requirements for the CCBHC and other grant awards
Analyzes and evaluate project outcomes of the CCBHC and other grant awards
Monitor compliance with specific grant initiatives and develop action plans with the CCBHC Project Director or other Program Directors when non-compliance is identified.

Qualifications:
Educational and Experience”
Master’s degree in social work, public administration, or related field or Bachelors degree and 5+ years of experience in data and program evaluation
Experience conducting community-based program evaluation and research projects.
Experience with supervision, professional writing and presentations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Familiar with behavioral health organizations
Familiar with community-based program evaluation and research.
Familiar working with nonprofit organizations.
Excellent skills in written and oral communication, time management, organizational skills and attention to detail.
Skilled in Microsoft Office software.
Willing and able to mentor a graduate student through an outcome evaluation plan process.
Familiar with the SAMSHA SPARs Portal preferred.
Familiar with electronic health records, Echo Vantage and Avatar preferred.

Benefits:
Full-time employees are eligible for medical benefits the first of the month 30 days after hire date. Options for a standard plan and an HSA plan with a $300 initial contribution and up to a $25 per paycheck match. 10 paid holidays and PTO hours which accrue at a rate of 10 hours per month. After 6 months employees are eligible to enroll in our 401(k) plan which has a 4% match. Company paid life insurance, short and long term disability, in house and paid training opportunities, and additional pay for working holidays.
