Assistant Dean, Recruitment, Admissions & Financial Aid

The School of Social Work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for an Assistant Director of Recruitment, Admissions and Financial Aid. We are looking for a dynamic candidate who is passionate about creating positive experiences and strong supports for prospective students at our nationally ranked school. This is a full time (1.0 FTE), 12-month, non-faculty appointment that reports to the Assistant Dean for Recruitment, Admissions, and Financial Aid. The Assistant Director will join the Office of Academic and Student Affairs to develop, plan, and help lead the School’s recruitment and admissions efforts to meet enrollment goals for all MSW degree programs but with a special emphasis on our on-campus programs. The candidate will assist in developing, planning, and implementing special recruitment and orientation events and assist in leading ongoing student recruitment projects within the school such as the student ambassadors programs. The Assistant Director will represent the UNC School of Social Work at local, state-wide, and national graduate school recruitment events. In addition, the candidate will collaborate with the MSW admissions committee to recruit and set objectives to achieve the School’s MSW program enrollment goals for the on-campus program.
