This specific Assistant Dean role will add additional experience and human capital to the Student Support and Case Management area within the UNC-Chapel Hill Dean of students office. The Assistant Dean of Students for Case Management will have a focus on the implementation of our case management operations, serve on-call for the Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT), and will serve as the assistant chair for Care Team. Like our other assistant dean positions, this is a non-clinical role. The selected person will be responsible for appropriately managing a caseload of students of concern and will bring a quality and level of experience that allows them to respond to the full range of students of concerns, from early intervention to crisis response for both short- and longer-term support needs. The position will report to the new Associate Dean of Students that I hope to announce in the coming weeks.
