Ethics in End-of-Life Care
April 4, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Covid-19 has heightened people’s attention to mortality, and it is our ethical responsibility to be prepared to assist clients and family members facing serious illness and end-of-life concerns. Participants will learn about tools and frameworks for advanced care planning, hospice, and palliative care, with an emphasis on culturally competent practices to promote dignity and self-determination.
Clinical Lecture Series trainings are for students, professionals, and community members interested in therapeutic practices that are anti-oppressive, intersectional, and centered on self-determination.
Free of charge for UNC School of Social Work students, faculty, staff, field instructors.
Scholarships available upon request.
