The 20-month Advanced Standing application deadline has been extended to November 10, 2020, 11:59pm EST. Applicants who would like to be considered for School of Social Work funding must submit completed applications by October 31, 2020.
The new 20-month program is designed for candidates who have graduated from an accredited BSW program, including students who are eager to continue working as they complete their graduate degree. Applicants who are currently employed in social work-related settings, as well as those interested in advancing their macro social work skills are strongly encouraged to apply.
The 20-month program is open to any applicant who meets the criteria and who has an interest in direct practice or community management and policy practice. The program may be particularly attractive to working professionals who are employed with agencies and in positions that could be considered as a field experience.
Students will begin classes in January 2021 and complete the program in May 2022. Please be aware that due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, all MSW classes for Spring 2021 will be taught remotely.
