MSW students Erin Bergstrom and Mawiyah Patten were named 2012-13 Weiss Fellows by the UNC Graduate School. The Weiss Urban Livability Program supports talented graduate students who seek to improve urban livability. This year, of the nine fellowships awarded to new UNC graduate students in various disciplines, two were given to School of Social Work students.
Alex Collins and Arianna Taboada, MSW/MPH dual degree students, were selected as IntraHealth UNC 2012 Summer Fellows.
Elizabeth Kunreuther, a second year MSW student, had an article published in the ARC of Massachusetts newsletter, entitled “A co-teacher’s operation house call experience.”
Mirna Rauda, MSW/MPH dual degree student, was selected as a North Carolina Institute for Public Health Leaders in Practice fellow for summer ’12.
