From Raleigh/Durham
Take I-40 West. Take exit #273-A towards Chapel Hill. This puts you on Hwy 54 West. Continue straight. After six traffic lights, you will go under the Hwy 15/501 overpass and be on Raleigh Road which becomes South Road as you get on campus. Pass the Bell Tower on the left. Before the second traffic light, get in the left lane so you can go straight through the light across Columbia Street. The road name changes from South Road to McCauley Street. Turn left at next light on to Pittsboro Street. Pass the Tate-Turner-Kuralt building, the second building on the left, and bear to the left at the fork in the road. Go straight through the stop light at the intersection of Pittsboro St. and Columbia St. The road name changes from Pittsboro St. to Manning Drive. Get in the right lane and turn right at the third stoplight, onto New East Drive. Take the first right turn into the Dogwood Parking Deck and park. From Greensboro
Take I-40 East.
Take the Hwy. 86 exit towards Chapel Hill. This road becomes Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. (Historic Airport Rd.) and then Columbia Street as you enter Chapel Hill. After crossing Franklin Street, go to the second traffic light and turn right on to Cameron Ave. Go to the first traffic light and turn left on Pittsboro Street. Go through the next light and pass the Tate-Turner-Kuralt building, the second building on the left, and bear to the left at the fork in the road. Go straight through the stop light at the intersection of Pittsboro St. and Columbia St. The road name changes from Pittsboro St. to Manning Dr. Get in the right lane and turn right at the third stoplight, onto New East Dr. Take the first right to into the Dogwood parking deck and park. Take Hwy 15-501 North to Chapel Hill.
At the junction of Hwy 15-501 and Hwy 54, bear to the left GOING OVER THE BRIDGE over Hwy 54. This road becomes Columbia Street. At the third traffic light AFTER crossing the overpass, turn right on Manning Drive. At the third traffic light, turn right onto New East Drive. Directions to the UNC School of Social Work from the Dogwood Parking Deck
We will be using a Carolina Livery Bus to shuttle recruiters to and from the School of Social Work on Career Day between the morning hours of 8:30-10 a.m. and in the afternoon from 2-5 p.m. There will be a Social Work Career Day sign in the window of the shuttles and a sign and balloons at the shuttle stops. The stop is located on Manning Drive just outside the Dogwood deck facing UNC Hospitals. The shuttle stops are highlighted on the attached map. The shuttle will be running continuously as recruiters arrive and depart from Career Day, so you should not have to wait more than ten minutes for the shuttle between the hours listed above. If you would prefer to walk to the School of Social Work (about a ten-minute walk), the brick walkway is highlighted in red on the enclosed map. You may wish to stop by the Tate Turner Kuralt building to drop off passengers and display materials before proceeding to the Dogwood Deck.
