Engaging IDD Stakeholders and Families as Partners in Research

In this course, Blaise Morrison, Ph.D., will provide an overview of stakeholder-driven research, the importance of partnering with diverse IDD families in research, and potential practices, processes, and strategies for engaging stakeholders and families in IDD healthcare research.

Focus on Family and Disability Seminar Series trainings are for students, professionals, and community members interested in therapeutic practices that are anti-oppressive, intersectional, and centered on self-determination. 

Free of charge for UNC School of Social Work students, faculty, staff, and field instructors. 1.5 CE for behavioral health clinicians including social workers, psychiatrists, and counselors.

Scholarships available upon request.

Family members may attend for free.
