Antiracist Applications to Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

This virtual live workshop with trainer Ashley Pierson, Ph.D., introduces methods for clinicians to use DBT to increase their antiracism competencies, including practical applications of the DBT technology to target one’s own racist attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors in the context of therapy.

Clinical Lecture Series trainings are for students, professionals, and community members interested in therapeutic practices that are anti-oppressive, intersectional, and centered on self-determination.

Free of charge for UNC School of Social Work students, faculty, staff, and field instructors. 2 CE for behavioral health clinicians including social workers, psychiatrists, and counselors.

Scholarships available upon request.
