Pin-Chen Chiang, MSW (she, her, hers) is a social work doctoral student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Pin-Chen has clinical experience in the intimate partner violence field and gender equality advocacy in Taiwan, and practice specialization in Sexuality and Gender in New York. Her research interests focus on LGBTQIA+ youth’s mental health and family-centered services. She believes that the visibility of gender-expansive identities and the mental health situation is important for LGBTQIA+ people’s well-being and social welfare delivery. At UNC-Chapel Hill, Pin-Chen is working with Dr. Will Hall and participating in Queer Experiences of Stress, Strength, and Transformation Project and the Health Family Research.
