The Jordan Institute for Families and its work with foster care in North Carolina was mentioned in, “Rising number of N.C. teens age out of foster care,” an article published in the Raleigh News & Observer and in the Asheboro Courier-Tribune.
 
 
 
 
First-year MSW students Elizabeth Anderson and Nina Honeycutt were interviewed by Frank Stasio on WUNC radio’s “The State of Things,” for their class project, “Hear Our Voices,” a multimedia installation that shares the voices and experiences of 18 North Carolinians, including their struggles and challenges as well as their personal and community triumphs. The project was developed for Professor Iris Carlton-LaNey’s 501 class, “Confronting Oppression & Institutional Discrimination.”
