Elisa Chinn Gary, MSW ’00, JD ’99, of Charlotte, was elected to the Mecklenburg County Clerk of Superior Court in November. For the past 13 years, she has served as the administrator of the Juvenile and Family Courts.

Devon Corpus, MSW ’01, helped organize this year’s successful Crisis Intervention Team International Annual Conference, held Oct. 13-15 in Monterey, Calif. CIT is a collaboration between law enforcement and behavioral health to help mentally ill consumers get the appropriate help that they need when in a crisis situation. More than 900 attended this year, with 100 different workshops to choose from. Corpus is the crisis team supervisor with the Monterey County Behavioral Health Bureau.
