Job Description

About TROSA: Triangle Residential Options for Substance Abusers (TROSA) is an innovative, multi-year residential program that empowers people with substance use disorders to be productive, recovering individuals by providing comprehensive treatment, experiential vocational training, education, and continuing care. We are a licensed facility dedicated to providing quality care and services.

Job Summary: This mid-level position ensures that the residential program meets internal and external compliance standards and works across TROSA departments to design and implement new initiatives and organizational improvements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Program Compliance Coordination:
    • Track laws and regulations that might affect the organization's policies and processes
    • Oversee annual Quality Management planning process in coordination with TROSA Management Team
    • Proactively perform internal audits and property inspections to ensure compliance with various regulations from licensing bodies, state regulators, etc. and share with appropriate staff (i.e. medical, program, construction) any issues that need to be addressed
    • Serve as main point of contact/liaison with external auditors
      • seek clarification about rules/regulations and relay that information to staff
      • accompany auditors on inspections
      • ensure staff addresses any issues that arise from visits
    • Maintain files and documentation related to licensure and audits
    • Review and revise internal policies and procedures to ensure these reflect best practices and meet relevant compliance requirements
  • Project Management:
    • Partner with executive team to identify new initiatives and process improvements
    • In collaboration with key stakeholders, develop a plan and timeline for implementation of new projects
    • Initiate and support the implementation of new initiatives
    • Report, document and evaluate projects

Credentials, Certifications or Experience:

  • Bachelor degree. MSW or equivalent master degree a plus
  • Project planning and previous program auditing experience a plus
  • Familiar with regulatory agencies
  • Advanced level with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail, Self-starter
  • At least three years of professional experience with increasing responsibility
  • Ability to identify audit risks and take appropriate actions to correct
  • Ability to work independently to coordinate multiple projects
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work well with a variety of individuals from different walks of life
  • Ability to give and receive feedback in a constructive manner

Compensation: This is a full-time, mid-level position with comprehensive benefits. This is not a remote position.
