Part-Time Program Evaluator

The North Carolina Coalition Against Sexual Assault (NCCASA) is an inclusive, statewide alliance working to end sexual violence through education, advocacy, and legislation.
Program Evaluator
REPORTS TO: Prevention Education Program Manager
POSITION STATUS: Part-time, exempt
POSITION DESCRIPTION: NCCASA is seeking a part-time Program Evaluator to create processes, tools, methodologies, and products for use in the evaluation, analysis, and reporting of all activities that fall under NCCASA’s Sexual Violence Prevention Program.
Under the supervision of the Prevention Program Manager, this position will be responsible for assessing, evaluating, and playing a strategic role in all activities within NCCASA’s Prevention Program, including, but not limited to:
  • Creating evaluation and sustainability plans for NC’s State Plan to Prevent Sexual Violence, steered by the NC Sexual Violence Prevention Advisory Council (SVPAC)
  • Using the minimum dataset, evaluate the impact of the work of NC Rape Prevention Education (RPE) program sub-recipients
  • Assisting the Prevention Program Manager with evaluation technical assistance of RPE sub-recipients.
  • Assisting the Prevention Program Manager in providing evaluation training and technical assistance of NCCASA members
  • Attending virtual or in-person programmatic meetings
    • At least 2 years’ experience doing anti-sexual violence work. Experience in both prevention and response preferred.
    • Experience designing curricula and training modules.
    • Strong research and evaluation skills.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • A strong anti-oppression lens and a commitment to social justice are required and mandatory for the success of this project.
  • Must have reliable and consistent transportation.
    • Must be able to travel in state and on occasion out of state for meetings, trainings, conferences, etc.
    • Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week (flexibility around work site and times).
Salary and Benefits: This is an hourly, with salary range of $32-$42 per hour, position and does not include benefits.
