Carolina Adoption Services is currently looking for part-time social workers in the Greensboro, NC area. Carolina Adoption Services has over 25 years of experience helping families bring their children home from around the world through adoption. The agency offerers services for families who are interested in both domestic and international adoption.

Carolina Adoption Services is seeking a certified adoption investigator (ACI) to write home studies for prospective adoptive parents and provide post-adoption supervision after families return home. Applicants must be willing to travel and meet with families in their homes. Must have a degree in Social Work or a related field and experience in either adoption or child  

A certified adoption investigator interviews prospective adoptive parents and visits their home to write reports on the suitability of a family to adopt. The position requires a master's degree in social work or a related field plus certified adoption investigator status in North Carolina (or ability to receive before starting work). The worker needs to be able to drive to the home and needs to be able to use Word for processing reports. Experience in adoption or child welfare is preferred. There is flexibility in the hours and number of cases the worker accepts at one time.
