Human Trafficking Case Manager


DCRC is seeking a part-time (25 hours per week) Human Trafficking Case Manager to provide services to victims of sex and labor trafficking and manage DCRC’s response to human trafficking. The Case Manager will also be responsible for outreach to vulnerable populations at high risk for trafficking, including youth in schools and transitional programs; assisting in development of new services for victims at DCRC and through partner agencies; educating and informing the community about human trafficking and resources available; and collaborating and partnering with DCRC staff, community members, organizations, and service providers to develop a community-wide, victim-centered, trauma-informed response to human trafficking.

The Human Trafficking Case Manager will be expected to:

  • Provide leadership and management to DCRC’s human trafficking services program;
  • Work with DCRC staff and community partners on community outreach programs;
  • Provide direct services to victims, including:
    • Crisis intervention and crisis counseling;
    • Hospital accompaniment;
    • Case management and follow up care.
  • Provide support and training for DCRC staff, interns, and volunteers on human trafficking specifically and as it relates to domestic and sexual violence.
  • Work some evenings or weekends off-site with outreach programs.
  • Document all activities and assist in reporting.

Required education/experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the human services field, or equivalent combination of training and experience plus 2-4 years direct service experience working with victim/survivors of human trafficking or having worked in the field of domestic and/or sexual violence; or
  • MSW, MA in counseling, MPH, MA in relevant field plus 1-3 years of direct service experience in field of domestic and/or sexual violence
  • Experience working effectively with a diverse population, including youth and LGBTQ individuals.
  • Spanish bilingual a plus.
