Human Services Evaluator I



JOB TITLE:        Human Services Evaluator I                                        
DEPARTMENT:    Social Services
SALARY:    Based on experience

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:  The primary purpose of this position is to lead the continuous quality improvement efforts for child welfare programs in the agency.  This is professional and analytical work providing staff assistance and evaluation of the agency’s child welfare program in functional program areas that include foster care, adoptions, foster home licensing, child protective services, and in-home services where social work practices and client population are similar.   Performs related duties as required.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:  Oral and written interviews.  Bilingual preferred; verbal Spanish test will be given if applicant lists Spanish as a second language.  OFFICIAL college transcripts must be submitted with application to be considered.

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:  Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in psychology, sociology, or social work or a human service programmatic field, preferably with coursework in human services program evaluation; or graduation from a four-year college or university and two years of program evaluation or consultative experience in human service programs; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
