The U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants- NC Field Office, is accepting applications for two open positions.

The Clinician will work as part of USCRI-North Carolina’s Nuevo Comienzo Program, which provides legal and social services to unaccompanied minors in North Carolina’s Triangle Area. The successful candidate must be able to excel in a high-volume, fast-paced program to provide trauma focused school based clinical interventions. Must also be committed to immigration and human rights issues and be able to conduct advocacy, trainings, and other outreach activities. A key purpose of the program is to provide children and their families with culturally and linguistically competent trauma focused care so they may heal from the experiences that led them to leave their countries of origin to begin a new life in North Carolina. The position is reports to the Field Office Director based in the Raleigh, North Carolina office.

The successful candidate must be able to excel in a high-volume, fast-paced program that will involve coordinating stakeholders, pro bono attorneys, and immigrant and refugee clients. The successful candidate must also be committed to immigration and human rights issues and be able to conduct advocacy, trainings, and other outreach activities. The position reports to the Associate Director of Legal Services.
