Program Coordinator


APNC is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator
We exist to empower our prevention, treatment, and recovery professionals to thrive in their practice. The unrelenting addiction epidemic and North Carolina’s evolving continuum of care require deliberate education and vigilant advocacy. APNC is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization, leading the movement to transform NC’s systems of care into a culture that promotes wellness for individuals with substance use disorder, their families, and their communities.

Job Duties:
•    Manage incoming communications and provide reliable information on the organization
•    Plan events and conferences working with contracted staff and volunteers
•    Plan and lend administrative support to board meetings
•    Manage supplies
•    Assist Executive Director
•    Assist with maintaining membership data and new member info
•    Assist with organizational membership renewals
•    Maintain and update office documents and directories
•    Provide administrative support for various projects/programs
•    Maintain project/program databases
•    All other duties as assigned
•    Bachelor’s degree within humanities & social sciences preferred
•    Familiarity with the substance use disorder prevention, treatment, & recovery fields
•    Strong interpersonal skills; strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
•    Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism
•    Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Constant Contact email marketing software
•    Familiarity with database management
•    Excellent organizational and time management skills
•    Ability to be flexible to handle multiple and changing priorities
Job Type: Full-time 40-hours salaried
Salary: $37,000.00 to $45,000.00/year plus excellent benefits package
Other Requirements:
•    occasional after hours and travel to semi-annual conferences
•    self-transportation to infrequent meetings away from Raleigh
•    report to office in Raleigh
