WFU Staff Counselor/Psychologist Opening

The Staff Psychologist and the Staff Counselor/Psychologist are members of a close and collaborative team of mental health professionals who provide comprehensive confidential mental health services to a vibrant community of undergraduate, graduate, and professional school students. The successful candidates for these positions will provide short-term counseling/therapy and crisis intervention to Wake Forest University students, and consultation and outreach to the WFU community. The University Counseling Center (UCC) is focused on providing equitable and inclusive services to the campus community, particularly to historically marginalized populations. The UCC is an APA-accredited training site for psychology and counseling interns for whom all staff members serve as supervisors, consultants, and mentors. Based on experience and interest, staff have the opportunity to provide leadership over a UCC service area and/or advocacy for a special population. The University Counseling Center is part of the Health & Wellbeing Team of offices within the Division of Campus Life.
