Salary Range: $49,090 – $77,589

Primary Purpose of Position: Primary purpose of this position is to provide NC Fast and policy training to staff, research, troubleshoot and identify problems with cases in the NC Fast case management system that caseworkers are unable to authorize. The primary program areas are Food and Nutrition Services, Medicaid, WFFA, Child Care, and the Crisis Intervention Program including Emergency Assistance and the Low Income Energy Assistance Program. This position will work with the NC Fast Help Desk in order to determine possible solutions that could be the cause of cases not authorizing.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Considerable knowledge of principles and techniques of training. Considerable knowledge of capabilities and uses of audiovisual aids and other training tools and resources. Ability to organize and coordinate training activities; to evaluate student learning; and to maintain accurate records. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in written form. Ability to work effectively with others and use sound judgement in applying policies, policies, procedures, and training principles.

Minimum Education and Experience: Graduation from a four-year college or university and three years of experience in a human service program, counseling, or training in the subject matter specified; or an equivalent combination of education and experience to demonstrate required skills and knowledge. Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) and NC FAST Certificate are preferred. Valid North Carolina driver’s license required. Bilinguals encouraged to apply.
