DESCRIPTION OF WORK: As LINKS Coordinator, employee works with foster care youth age 13 and up to plan for independent living upon reaching their majority. The Coordinator is also responsible for administering LINKS funds, tracking services provided to eligible youths, and maintaining a data base of youths who leave foster care until they reach age 21. Maintain caseload of those enrolled in the Foster Care 18-21 program.

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in social work from an accredited institution; Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of directly related experience; Bachelor’s degree from an institution and two years directly related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS: Must have valid North Carolina driver’s license, good driving record, and transportation for use at work. Oral and written interviews. A verbal Spanish test will be given if applicant lists Spanish as a second language. OFFICIAL College transcripts must accompany application in order for application to be considered complete.
