Social Worker I A&T (Investigation/Assessment & Treatment) * (3 POSITIONS) *
Performs difficult professional work in support of & assistance to child welfare clients with
personal, social, health, psychological & economic needs; investigates reports of abuse, neglect &
dependency; educates families with CPS issues; provides counseling and case management
services for children at risk; provides service to increase awareness of child safety and family
autonomy; performs related duties as required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Master’s degree from an accredited school of social work & 1 year of social
work experience; or a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of social work & 2 years of social work or
counseling experience; or Master’s degree in a counseling field & 2 years of social work or counseling
experience; or a four-year degree in a human services field or related curriculum & 3 years of social work or
counseling experience; or graduation from a four-year college or university & 4 years of experience in
rehabilitation counseling, pastoral counseling or a related human service field providing experience in the
techniques of casework, group work or community organization; or an equivalent combination of training &
experience. One year of work experience can be credited for completion of the social work collaborative.
SALARY: $42,907 – $66,505 annually
