Crossnore School & Children’s Home is seeking a Senior Director of Clinical Services who will oversee the management of clinical teams and provide oversight for the Clinical Division. Working in consultation with other senior leadership, this position will aid in strategic planning for clinical supports across the child welfare continuum for the population served throughout Western North Carolina. A main strategic goal of this position will be to build a trauma-informed, integrated clinical approach to support children while they live in an environment outside of their family of origin in a fiscally responsible way.

This is a key role interfacing with departments across three campus locations. Travel to multiple campus locations and community agencies will be required.

Position will require after-hours on-call support to staff within the team. Candidate may be based in Crossnore, Hendersonville, or Winston-Salem, NC.

Requirements & Qualifications

Master’s degree in human services or related field
Must meet one of the following active licensed discipline categories: Physician or Psychiatrist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Psychologist (Doctorate Level), Licensed Psychological Associate, Licensed Professional Counselor/Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, Certified Clinical Supervisor.
Minimum of 8 years mid-management to upper-management leadership experience in a clinical setting.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with children and families in a mental health setting.
Certification in at least two EBPs highly preferred (i.e. TF-CBT, EMDR, CBT, DBT, etc.)
Experience with and understanding of care management or care coordination is highly preferred.
Experience providing clinical supervision to clinicians highly preferred.
Knowledge of organizational development and personnel management, including state and federal laws, and other applicable regulations and standards.
Demonstrated knowledge of financial management of sustainable business models, profit/loss, budgets, financial metrics/analysis and billing oversight.
Ability to think conceptually and plan strategically.
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of a variety of computer software programs.
Ability to communicate and relate to staff, children, clients and the public in a positive and pleasant manner.
Demonstrated passion for serving children and the child-serving workforce.
Valid driver’s license with ability to travel to all locations.
