Kids On Up Psychotherapy is a private, outpatient mental health practice serving
all ages, with a special focus on school-age children and adolescents and their
families, young adults, and adults with developmental disabilities. We commonly
treat ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, and offer help
through difficult transitions. We run multiple social skills therapy groups year round.
Psychotherapists begins as Contractors, with salary based on billed client hours.
Once 18+ hours/week are achieved, Psychotherapists may shift from Contract to
Employee status and enjoy additional benefits. Supervision for LCSWAs is included.
Responsibilities:
• Clinician will practice individual and group outpatient psychotherapy.
• The clinical position requires that the employee stay within network and uphold
appropriate certifications with NC Medicaid insurance plans.
• Clinician will be expected to prepare and maintain all required treatment
records and reports and ensure that all records meet health insurance
standards of medical necessity.
• Clinician will be expected to maintain confidentiality of records relating to
therapist-client relationship and follow standards for all federal HIPAA
compliance.
• Clinician is also responsible for maintaining positive client relationships and
keeping clients as long as clinical needs suggest.
