The OASIS program is an established, evidenced based First Episode Psychosis Coordinated Specialty Care Program in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. We are seeking a passionate, energetic, innovative candidate to serve as the OASIS Program Director. The OASIS Program Director, in conjunction with the Medical Director, leads a multidisciplinary team of medical providers, therapists, a supported employment specialist, and peer support specialists serving over 100 persons with first episode psychosis and their families. The OASIS team provides comprehensive assessments, individual, family and group therapies, medical management, supported employment, and peer support interventions with a goal enhancing recovery from first episode psychotic disorders. In addition, OASIS provides cutting edge services such as Horyzons, a therapeutic, moderated social media platform. Specific Program Director responsibilities includes staff supervision, monitoring service delivery, leading the weekly team meetings, performing screening and initial intake evaluations, providing family and multifamily group therapies. The Program Director interacts with University of North Carolina Health Care staff, ensuring the OASIS program efficiency and sustainability.
