The McNabb Center is a non-profit behavioral health provider in eastern Tennessee. At the Anderson County clinic, we mostly serve uninsured individuals and clients with TennCare (Tennessee’s state Medicaid). In addition to therapy services, we have medication services, case management, IOP, parenting classes, military-related therapy, and sexual assault-related therapy programs.
The Master’s Level Clinician in Anderson County (Oak Ridge, TN) is responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and treatment of persons seeking professional help for mental health and co-occurring issues. This includes initial assessments, diagnosing, triage/crisis counseling, and individual therapy. Will serve both adults and children. The necessary skills for this position include the ability to demonstrate appropriate boundaries, ability to be an empathic listener, and flexibility, willingness, and adaptability to work with diverse populations. Must also have the ability to communicate effectively and possess good time management and organizational skills.
Oak Ridge, TN is located just outside of Knoxville. In this position, you would be supervised by another UNC SSW alumna! This is the perfect position for anyone seeking licensure. You would have no trouble getting the required clinical hours with this position.
