Join us for an exciting opportunity to provide outpatient counseling for a long-standing nonprofit organization! The successful clinician will provide services youth and families who need outpatient mental health and/or substance abuse services. This therapist position includes very competitive pay, a sign-on bonus, has full-time status (as opposed to contract positions), and flexibility for in-person and virtual service delivery models. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

– Provide individual, family, and group therapies to youth and their families.
– Engage in therapeutic activities virtually and/or in-person.
– Opportunities to serve vulnerable populations of youth, creating generations of happier, healthier people.
– Work systemically with the Department of Public Safety, Department of Education, other mental health organizations, and other
providers for continuity of care.
– Provide Comprehensive Clinical Assessments, trauma-screenings, treatment planning and crisis planning.
– Participate in administrative meetings and peer staffings to foster a culture of camaraderie and clinical excellence.
– Complete service documentation in a timely, ethical fashion, in line with program and best-practice standards.
– Participate in monthly supervision and provide feedback for program and agency improvement

Education and Experience Requirements:

– Master’s Degree in a Human Service or related field plus one year of experience with a similar population.
– Valid full or provisional licensure in one of the following disciplines: LCSW/A, LMFT/A, LCMHC/A and LCAS.
– Preference for credentialing with Medicaid.
– Requires knowledge and the ability to practically implement mental health regulations and clinical services.
– Requires effective communication, decision making, analytical, interpersonal, leadership and professionalism skills and abilities.
– Must have basic computer and math skills.
– Must have a valid North Carolinas Driver’s License.
– Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening, criminal, HCPR and driving checks.
