Position Type: Full-time
Closing Date: January 18, 2023

The following describes both the Intensive In-Home Program and the wages, duties, eligibility requirements, and benefits of becoming a team lead.

Intensive In-Home is a service designed for families where a child is at risk for out-of-home placement. The identified clients are individuals between the ages of 5-20, but the therapy is family-focused and engages the nuclear family, extended family, neighbors, schools, and anyone else who plays a significant role in the child’s life. Treatment generally lasts 6-9 months for each family.

Easterseals’ Intensive In-Home program uses an evidence-based therapeutic model called Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy. Training in the model is comprehensive, interactive, and involves ongoing biweekly meetings to learn and practice skills and interventions.

Our Intensive In-Home programs are divided into teams that serve various regions in Wake or Johnston county. Each team consists of one team lead and two team members. Team members and team leads either provide therapy directly in the home or research resources and interventions that may be useful to their clients.

Wages and Benefits: ~$50,000 per year starting pay, health and dental benefits, paid clinical supervision if you begin the process to acquire your full licensure, optional paid training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mileage reimbursement

Qualifications: An Associate or Provisional license in a human service field (PLPC, LPA, LMFTA, LCSWA), 1 year of experience with at-risk populations (including internships)

Duties:
1. Complete 14 hours of clinical work each week. Clinical hours include 2-hour therapy sessions in the family’s home or research/case management.
2. After being trained, team leads will direct the course of treatment for their families, assigning sessions to their team members and discussing the goals of each individual session.
3. Complete a note for each therapy or case management session completed.
4. Every 3 weeks, you will be responsible for carrying a crisis phone for 1 week. Crisis phones are a 24/7 service provided to clients for times when they are in distress. A team lead can expect about 1 crisis call per week.
