This individual should be a creative problem solver, exhibit excellent judgement in difficult situations, and have the ability to succinctly translate complex policies with nuance and compassion.

The Title IX/Equal Opportunity Report and Response Coordinator (RRC) reports to the Director of Title IX Compliance. This position serves as a primary, neutral point of contact to receive and respond to reports of protected status discrimination and harassment by and against students and employees pursuant to all applicable University policies, including the Policy on Prohibited Discrimination, Harassment and Related Misconduct and the Policy on Prohibited Sexual Harassment Under Title IX. In collaboration with the University’s EOC staff and units throughout campus including Student Affairs, the Office of Human Resources, and UNC Police, this position will direct students and employees to appropriate campus and community resources, advise students and employees of the processes for responding to complaints, and serve as a resource to students and employees throughout the investigation and resolution of complaints, in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements as related to complaints of harassment or discrimination.

Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate discipline required. Master’s degree in higher education administration, student affairs, social work, or other relevant discipline preferred.
