Under the general supervision of the Executive Director, the Primary Care Director is responsible for directing patient care in the clinic and overseeing the clinicians and clinical support staff to include: APNs, CMAs/MAs and nurses that work in the clinic.
Job expectations: Competency in Primary Care throughout the life cycle. Acceptance of several principles of community health care that include, but are not limited to the following: Commitment to the practice of health promotion and disease prevention, appropriate risk stratification, provision of trauma-informed and gender-affirming care, commitment to actively addressing health inequities and to providing safe spaces for marginalized people and communities.
