The School of Social Work is seeking a Program Director to manage the programs, personnel, and services provided by Behavioral Health Springboard. The primary focus of this position is overseeing the implementation of deliverables identified in contracts with the NC Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Use Services (DMH/DD/SUS), the NC Division of Child and Family Well-Being (DCFW), and others. Position responsibilities include negotiation, implementation, and oversight of the projects within the scope of work; personnel recruitment and deployment; proposal development, submission, and management; fiscal management; and grant/contract compliance and reporting. This position requires a substantial capacity to lead diverse teams and committees and the ability to implement the directives of the contractor as well as the expressed needs and wishes of the stakeholders. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are required. This position will be located in Chapel Hill and will require occasional travel to Raleigh and other areas throughout the state. The Director will work with Dr. Paul Lanier, (Associate Professor, Principal Investigator of BHS) and representatives from the Divisions of DMH/DD/SUS and Child and Family Well-Being.
