We are currently seeking a full-time licensed counselor (fully/provisionally licensed LCAS) for our Adult Outpatient Opioid Treatment Program program located on Garner Rd in Raleigh. This position is primarily responsible for counseling OTP clients, maintaining an active case load up to 50 clients and ensuring that the required documentation is completed and filed correctly and timely while maintaining a productivity level of minimum of 60% billable hours of hours worked.

Founded in 1970, SouthLight Healthcare is one of the area’s largest and long-established nonprofit providers of substance use treatment and mental health services. With outpatient and community-based programs, SouthLight provides prevention, education and treatment services in the Triangle and beyond. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide clinical services (individual and group therapy) and all required documentation to meet the service definition for OTP
Responsible for a caseload of up to 50 OTP clients including all documentation, authorizations and completion of NC TOPPS and discharges
Participate in treatment team meetings
Provide program orientation for consumers including screening, intake and releases of information
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be licensed as an LCAS or provisionally licensed as an LCAS-A (or LCSW/LCSWA)
Experience with dual diagnosis addictions and/or substance dependence/abuse
Ability to speak Spanish a plus
Strongly Preferred – The ability to supervise interns within the program (2 years post MSW experience required)
Benefits:
Full-time employees are eligible for medical benefits the first of the month 30 days after hire date. Options for a standard plan and an HSA plan with a $500 initial contribution and up to a $25 per paycheck match. 10 paid holidays and PTO hours which accrue at a rate of 10 hours per month.
