Community and School-based Mental Health Therapist – Orange Co.

Job Definition: Licensed or provisionally licensed (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) therapist needed for full time outpatient therapy position working with children and adolescents in a school and community setting.

Services include, but are not limited to, the following services:

Individual counseling and support to occur mainly during school hours.
Group counseling and support to occur mainly during school hours
Family counseling, training or support, to occur before or after school hours
Initial intake and Comprehensive Clinical Assessment
Case management and care coordination required to include: monthly CFT meetings, attendance at school-based MH meetings, and regular communication with school personnel, teachers, and school counselors, other duties as assigned
Community or office-based sessions depending on needs of families and clients served
Electronic documentation submitted within 24 hours of services rendered
Required Qualifications and Experience:

Masters degree in human service related field
Provisional or full licensure as one of the following: LPC, LCSW, LMFT
providing mental health services to children and adolescents
Competency with individual, group, and family therapy
Credentialed with Cardinal Innovations Healthcare and Blue Cross Blue Shield

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Previous training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Familiarity with working with children and adolescents
Location: This position is primarily school and community-based, and clinicians will be assigned to one or two schools within Orange or Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools
Must consent to a criminal background check
