This job listing has already closed.

CDSA of WNC has an opening for a clinical social worker with experience in infant/young child mental health. This position is based at our Sylva office (Jackson County).

As a member of a multidisciplinary team, the clinical social worker primarily conducts infant/young child social-emotional evaluations and provides child and family treatment services for children 0 – 3 years in the NC Infant-Toddler Program (NC ITP).
This position may also conduct multidisciplinary developmental evaluations to determine eligibility for the NC-ITP.
Requirements: Master’s degree from an accredited school of social work and two years of supervised social work experience as required by the NC Social Work Certification Board. Certification in Attachment-Biobehavioral Catch-up (ABC) treatment or willingness to obtain certification is required.

All services are typically conducted in family homes, so travel within the CDSA catchment area is required. During Covid-19, all CDSA services are provided via teleconferencing.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional who enjoys providing direct services to families and working in a supportive team environment.
